Lakemont Cove
is a community of condominiums surrounded on three side by a picturesque lake. Units are arranged around atrium courtyards which allow natural light to penetrate and provide semi-private entrances to each unit. The two and three bedroom units have windows on all four sides which gives them a detatched feel. All units also have attached garages with direct access. A clubhouse just for Lakemont Cove residents has a heated pool, spa and exercise facilities. Developed by Centex Homes in 1992 it was the first multi family neighborhood in Pelican Landing
.


Security Reminder
Please be advised that, for your safety and security, it is extremely important that you do not share your Pelican Landing security code with anyone. This includes your home watch company, friends, renters, service providers, etc. A person armed with your security code may alter your personal profile information or allow undesired persons to enter the community. If you do not know your code, we will be glad to give it to you if you stop by the community center front desk. For your protection, this information will not be given out over the phone. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

UOC Reports

Notes from June UOC Meeting:
 
A memorial sign at the new "Butterfly Park" was not approved.
Habitat for Humanity will not be supported.
United Way will be supported.
The FAA is reviewing current flight patterns.
A new path has been installed at our beach from the North dock directly to the North end of the beach which is still growing.
New zoning at Bonita Bubbles was rejected by the Bonita Springs zonig committee 6 to 0.
 
Request for funds:
1)  Privacy - Replace patrol radios - $1494 - Approved
2)  Admin -   Replace decking and railing on community park dock - $11,300 - Postponed
3)  Admin -   Refurbish Community Center furniture - $4500 - Approved
4)  Sailing -   Replace engine for picnic cat $1250 - Postponed
5)  Admin -   Termite treatment - $3100 - Approved
6)  Canoe/kayak - Purchase 3 new Kayaks - $1950 - Not approved

PLEASE BE AWARE:

 

THE WATER MAIN SHUT-OFF VALVES IN LAKEMONT COVE ARE APPROXIMATELY 18 YEARS OLD, MAYBE DEFECTIVE/ CORRODED AND DONOT MEET CURRENT CODE.  SEVERAL HOMEOWNERS HAVE RECENTLY CONTRACTED WITH PANTHER PLUMBING TO REPLACE THE MAIN VALVE WITH A SINGLE LEVER BRASS BALL VALVE.  THE NEW VALVE WILL SIMPLIFY THE WATER SHUT-OFF PROCESS.

 

INDIVIDUAL UNIT REPLACEMENT COSTS WITH PANTHER PLUMBING  RANGE FROM $160-175.  TO RECEIVE GROUP RATES, IT IS BEST FOR THE BUILDING OWNERS TO COORDINATE SAME DAY REPLACEMENT AT A MULTIPLE UNIT RATE OF $160 PER UNIT.

 


PLEASE COORDINATE WATER SHUTDOWN NOTICE WITH EACH OF THEIR BUILDING OWNERS.
